From November 20 to 21,2025, the "Synthetic Manufacturing · Algae Innovation Future – 2025 Microalgae Synthetic Biology and Biomanufacturing Innovation Forum," jointly organized by the Shenzhen Institute of Technology and the Institute of Synthetic Biology at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was grandly held in Shenzhen. The forum brought together leading experts, scholars, industry leaders, and corporate representatives in the field to discuss the latest advancements in microalgae synthetic biology and innovative pathways for biomanufacturing. It aimed to promote the deep integration and development of microalgae technology with industrial applications. ASXAN BIOTECH GROUP attended the forum as an important guest company.

During the roundtable discussion on "How to Build a Microalgae Biomanufacturing and Application Ecosystem," Pan Siyu, Chief Innovation Officer of ASXAN BIOTECH GROUP, engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions with fellow guests on the historical opportunities and practical challenges involved in constructing the microalgae manufacturing and application ecosystem.

As an international nutrient leader driven by "Chinese Core" Technology, ASXAN BIOTECH GROUP garnered widespread attention from the industry at this forum. Leveraging its complete technological chain from "Microalgae Farming" to "Recombinant Strain Engineering," the company has mastered multiple core technology platforms including ATPS (Aqueous Two-Phase System), SFE (Supercritical Fluid Extraction), and NMC (Nano Molecular Clathration). It has achieved compliance with regulatory requirements of the US FDA and the European EFSA, as well as GMP certification, demonstrating its strong R&D capabilities and stringent quality control systems.

By systematically constructing three core platforms—"Synthetic Biology," "Nutritional Ecology," and "Digital Intelligence Brand"—and using technological innovation as its engine, ASXAN BIOTECH GROUP has successfully built a global matrix of international nutrient brands. On-site, it highlighted three key achievements: the self-developed, New Zealand-origin astaxanthin ingredient AstaMAZ®, which utilizes advanced supercritical extraction technology to redefine industry standards for astaxanthin with its high purity, high activity, naturalness, and safety; natural astaxanthin nanocapsules AstaNANO®, where astaxanthin molecular clusters are reduced to particle sizes of less than 50 nm through high-pressure processing and then encapsulated with nano-materials to enhance bioavailability and stability; and the newly developed fucoxanthin ingredient FucoSLIM®, which proactively enters the new track of functional nutrients in weight management and metabolic health. The debut of this three-brand matrix showcased ASXAN BIOTECH GROUP's full-chain capabilities in natural raw material development, synthetic biology application, and formulation technology innovation.

This forum not only provided a high-level platform for scientific innovation and industrial collaboration in the microalgae field but also clearly outlined how Chinese biotech companies like ASXAN BIOTECH GROUP are actively expanding their global presence in agriculture, food, medicine, and health through continuous technological innovation and ecosystem building. Currently, ASXAN BIOTECH GROUP's business network spans over 100 countries and regions worldwide, steadily progressing toward its goal of becoming an upright, innovative, and sustainable multinational biotech group.
The successful convening of the "Synthetic Manufacturing · Algae Innovation Future" forum marks a new stage of collaborative innovation and shared ecosystem development in the R&D and industrialization of microalgae, a strategic emerging field in China, injecting new vitality and imagination into the future sustainable development of the bioeconomy.
